Im left handed and my drum set is set up for right handed, should i switch it arround?

So like i said im left handed and my sets set up for a right handed player, so the problem is, i use my left hand for the hi-hat and the right hand on the snare, this would mean my hands and sticks arnt crossed when i do hi-hat and snare. some people have told me i should switch my set arround to left handed so its easier to hit the ride and crash cymbals, and just start practicing on my other foot, or should i just keep my set how it is?

whatever is easiest for you. you could switch it to see if it is more comfortable. There are probably a lot of great left handed drummers. i hope this helps!
