Connection between Status Quo and Penguins?
After watchin a video of Quo music videos thousands of times over the years ive only just noticed recently the penguins.
Obviously they are in the Living On An Island video, but ive seen one popping up in a couple of thier other videos and on an album cover too.
I understand why the penguin is standing beside the drum kit in the video for Livin On An Island, but why is it there for Whatever You Want video, and the record cover, album cover, etc.
Is there any reason behind this? I have asked on the message board of the bands official site, but no-one gave me a serious answer.
I've never heard of a connection between Status Quo and Penguins.
Now, the band that *do* have a connection with them is Fleetwood Mac, because John McVie likes them, and has one tattooed on his arm. One of their albums was called "Penguin", and cartoon penguins have appeared throughout their other albums...
