drummers help me please?
i am stuck between two sets i want.
yamaha birch

i like the idea of the 20" bass because i am a small person and would give me better tom position.
gretsch maple

i like this set because its maple, black, and comes with an extra tom. but i would probably end up selling the extra tom, because i wouldnt use it much.
can anyone give me their opinion on the set i should get? i play metal and post-hardcore by the way. i am really thinking about the gretsch set, but i dont want to have to play awkwardly because of the larger bass.
the gretsch maple set looks really nice. It has a 22" bass so it would be perfect for your metal and post-hardcore sound, since that kind of music relies A LOT on the bass drum. I play that kind of music too. I would suggest you get a double bass pedal if you get either of these sets because it will help your playing a lot. Also the gretsch is cheaper and if your planing on selling the free floor tom, you would be saving even more money. But it's your choice in the end.
