Yamaha Drum Electric
yamaha drum electric

Looking for an electric drumset on a tight budget, help?
Hey, I am just a beginner at the drums, and really want something to play on besides my bed lol, well I checked amazon.com and saw this Ion set http://www.amazon.com/USB-Electronic-Drum-Kit-So/dp/B000HWXGPW/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1213319359&sr=8-1
It only had 2 reviews, 1-1 star and 1-5 star, so I was wondering if I should get this or one of those electric yamaha pad drums like a DD-55 or something like that,
Any Suggestions?
Thanks in Advance
the simmons kit is the least exspensive full electronic kit that I am aware of. This is a proffesional kit, not a toy, or a video game controller. but the real thing. check musicians friend and look into the sd5k or the sd7k the alesis dm5 is another good set. All of these kits have everything except a bass drum pedal or speaker system. these kits cost about $500.00 . Check for special closeouts or scratch and dent items as they have even lower prices. Check Ebay for used kits also
I just checked out the kit you are talking about and if thats all you can afford then go with it otherwise check out the kits I mention
Good luck
