ludwig drum heads How can I find out which brand of drum set I have?
I have had my drum kit for so long that I cannot remember which brand it is. The drum HEADS say Ludwig, but is it possible for the heads to be a different brand than the actual drum?
Is the name located anywhere on the drum itself?
ludwig doesnt make drum heads, so i would have to assume that those were the heads that came with the set from the factory. normally the brand will be on the outside of the drum shell somewhere. it usually tells you the brand and the series. if youre doesnt have those, look on the inside of the drum. they will usually have a sticker or something designating a serial number and also the brand name. if you were really ambitious, you could go to ludwigs site and search the serial number to see the exact kind of set that you have.
