Snare Drum Stands How much is a Tama Starclassic Maple snare drum worth?
I have a Tama Starclassic maple snare drum that I would like to sell. It is a 6x14. It has a gloss clear coat over the maple shell. It also has the Star-cast mounting system and a heavy duty Tama stand to go with the mounting system. According to the serial numbers, the shell was made in 1996, but I don't think the drum was actually made and released until about 1998. I bought it from the original purchaser in 2000 and have owned it since. The drum itself is in mint condition. The mounting system has a few scratches and wear, and the stand is completely functional but looks ugly because it is scratched a lot and "pitting". So does anyone know how much something like this should approximately sell for? Thanks!
