Vintage Rare Antique Wood I have several vintage or antique pieces, like a walking stick. I went to eBay, but you must know what
the piece is made. type of wood etc. I search more than 700 canes. I have other things I can not find. How do you know how to describe something. Maybe its very rare or very common. advice. Thank you
When you search eBay using the advanced search completed feature ads When I am in search of values I'll start with a very general search like "stick" and then display the results I will restrict to a wooden stick, walnut walking stick, sterling handle in walnut walking stick, etc. Each time you add a word it will refine the search. I often find the exact item I use this process of narrowing. Search ebay is really a matter of practice. Start with a very broad search, then reduce it after poking around a bit in the results. When I started searching eBay few years ago it seems quite difficult and obscure, now I can find things in general after a few minutes. Pay attention to how people of their word auctions - when I'm selling on ebay I complete my description in words that people can search and avoid words like "and" with ", etc. that would never enter a search list.
