They have steel reinforced bearing edges molded into the fiberglass to provide maximum strength. For even greater durability, the inside of the shell has been reinforced with a layer of Kevlar fiber, the bullet proof vest material which is two-times stronger than steel. The 7-1/4" and 8-5/8" natural rawhide heads have been hand-picked for quality. LP Galaxy Fiberglass Bongos have a space age, sparkle finish that's accented with gleaming gold tone hardware including LP Comfort Curve II Rims and gold tone cast aluminum bottoms. The gold tone 5/16" diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell making them as comfortable for playing as possible. They are the perfect match to LP Galaxy Fiberglass Congas. |
