tom mounts?
if i go from a two arm bass tom holders to a single one like on a tama drumset will the suport be the same or will it not suport my toms as well
In order to change from 2 single "L" arms to a double "T" tom holder you have to change tom holder support on the bass drum. Probably that would require to make a new hole on your bass drum and that would be complicated since it already have two holes.
If you plan to change tom holding system because of the flexibility that "ball" arms offer you should get two hybrid "L-ball" arms. You can find that on www.musiciansfriend.com made by Gibraltar.
The other way to go is to buy a tom stand and leave alone the bass drum.
Remember: More holes mean changing your shell acoustics and that could have a really bad effect. Shell resistance will be also involved and that will affect your shell shape trough the years.
