To begin to answer these questions, my battery has a sentimental value? I'm in a hurry to sell? Am ready to accept less than the selling price? Compare with other percussion ensembles

Check to see what would be a reasonable value compared to other used batteries. Do your research online, check local listings music or paper board. Monitor the quality of your battery in the same all being sold elsewhere. It is the state of your battery in excellent condition, good, fair or weak? Is it their selling prices in line with prices other?

Status of the drum

What state of the disease are the drums and accessories? Are in excellent condition, may need a light dust? Do you need a more thorough cleaning with mild soap and water? Is there rust on the chrome drums, is plate or other hardware? Parts missing, as annexes, washers, and rubber shoes? Are drumheads cracked or worn? The cracks in the cymbals? Are the dishes shine bright or matt? N hihat and kick pedals need attention?

Increase your sale price

Get the best price for a set by conducting minor repairs to improve the appearance and performance. Clean the drum shell with a mild soap solution, if the drums are real dirty then wipe with a clean dry cloth. Use a mild cleanser for chrome oxide chrome parts. If possible, replace missing parts commonly found in music or hardware store. Replace cracked or worn drum skins. Use a clean plate to clean the dishes. To kick pedals, a chain based pedal and replace oil pedal powered belt, if necessary. The bottom line, you want your battery to find and do the best we may.

In case of sale

You may want to use every opportunity to sell as the use of the Internet, newspapers, billboards and word of mouth. Of course, use the meaning that you are comfortable. Follow any advice on the actual sale.
